Established in 2014, Harvest have grown its platform to ~$350m of pub assets and manage 3 funds focused on NSW and SA assets. They focus on acquiring, redeveloping and operating pubs in high economic growth regional centers.
People
Harvest was founded by Chris Cornforth and Fraser Haughton who between them have close to 40 years experience in hospitality and are backed by a team of over 500 staff across management and pubs. The Harvest team is backed by an investment committee of industry experts within the financial and advice space.
Investment Philosophy
Harvest focuses on well-located and established large format pubs in its target regions focusing on value uplift through capital and operational improvements. Harvest look to acquire under-valued pubs that they can improve through operational improvements (10-15%) and a focused cap-ex program (25%-30% uplift). They then look to optimise, targeting earnings growth from 2% to 4% p.a. through refinement of the offering before they look to exit via a portfolio sale.
